Writing posts at the spur of the moment!

Submitted in Blogging on January 28, 2010 No Comment

People often take blogging as their second career just to earn some more income plus that they fulfill their dreams of writing some day. I wonder sometimes in amazement how people take out time for blogging even after working 8-10 hours a day. After researching in depth from varied sources, I came to know, they quietly took out time early in the mornings or late at night or some wrote their posts during their office breaks or while traveling. Well, the ideas aren’t bad at all, but for me it would take a proper time, peace of mind and the perfect environment to start writing my blogs. When I started off in my blogging career, it took me a little more time to understand the psychology of the readers, what they prefer, how they prefer, what posts they like to read, what are their favorite topics, etc. I just know one thing, that at the end they need quality content, even if people are adjustable to any type of environment while writing their posts I am sure it just becomes a little uncomfortable or difficulty in writing the blog at last minute because these are the posts you blog post writingnearly know nothing about!

The popular bloggers, make a point to plan everything in advance and have their topics planned beforehand but there are times when you just don’t have anything to post and for new bloggers it especially becomes difficult to get themselves organized when there is an urgent need to post new blog. This is a similar type of situation as it happens in newspaper agencies where they need to get posted the latest news of emergencies or other news item in just no time – these are the posts which are written past the midnight, I really appreciate talents of such journalists who write the posts in the limited period of time without any thorough inputs. Once your blog is running full-fledged you can be rest assured even if your blog doesn’t get updated every day, you can keep posting fresh stuff every 2 days and also be in touch with your readers and the news happening in the economy. Inspirational writing is the key to writing superb posts, unless you are inspired or motivated to write the blog, you would waste much of your time in thinking about other stuff, which is of no importance.

Whatever timings or situations or conditions you might be writing your blog, you have to make sure that YOU DON’T PANIC or feel pressurized, calm down and write as normally as you might have written other posts. Getting stressed or nervous while writing fresh blogs are going to do you no good, so its better we accept all the situations and carry on with the work normally. Here are some of the few important points, which would make sure that you write amazing last minute blog without any difficult feelings:

  • Select your comfort zone, this could be the usual place where you normally sit for writing blogs, thrash away all the negative thoughts from your mind and carry forward positive vibrations in to your bodies, then your minds and finally in to your writings.
  • Don’t just look at the clock and write, that will kill your creativity and also at the same time make you less consumed into writing while worrying about the time. Write important points to be included in your post and start writing selectively.
  • Don’t get stuck in the middle, say your feelings out in whatever things you might be writing.
  • At the end, don’t forget to check for the spelling, grammar checking or formatting your document so that it looks organized and neat.
  • Writing little is far better than writing useless, remember, it is the quality that counts and not the quantity of your posts.
  • Take this as a learning lesson, and always keep 5 posts ready in case of emergencies.

If you take up much of your writing time in thinking what you are going to write, brush up your writing skills so that it becomes advantageous for you to write steadily.
