Self employment is the easiest thing one can think of to make money, but how much ever it might seem easy, its not that easy for it requires lots of resources, although not much but yes it does require a talent pool, skills, people to work for you and much more. Daily millions of people go to work and expect that they get good pay or better pay some day, some people are already in some good positions and they are quite well off in their careers but still they wish that some day they might get the privilege of having their own business, may be small or big. Believe me, the pleasures of having your own business are tremendous, although you might get a lesser pay you are still content, because its your own and you can run it the way you want. I was equally excited when I left my high paying job and took over my free lancing career, well to tell you the fact, Blogging was the last thing I wanted to do but looking at its benefit I went in to this field and here I am making good money. Working for yourself could be anything may be writing or running some transportation firm sitting back at home there are loads of options you can earn money through.

As much as having your own business sounds self satisfying it has equal amount of advantages and disadvantages, being your own boss is a little unnerving because there is a good amount of risk involved, you have to take up challenges everything on your own, many people wee for having that BOSS position but it requires lots of courage and freedom of thinking to arrive at that position. Setting up a business is easy but to run it with all that courage, goodwill, satisfaction, providing quality services is difficult, at the start of your business you might not get more consumers but as you build up your brand you may get a good market position.

Business requires quality services and the willingness to serve good work to your audience, you have to learn from your mistakes and move on and keep trying to achieve the best results in your business. There are lots of aspects to becoming self-employed, I have gone through lots of ups and downs and believe me its difficult to part with the way of work life you have been used to, although it may sound very promising and satisfying, this is one very big step you are taking up to take your journey to the other world, which will give you freedom, here I bring you some of my experiences, the self answering questions and tips which will let you have a safe journey.

Before you take your wise decision of working for yourself, I advise you to look for all the aspects of the field you are going to enter because remember, that not all businesses are successful in just one go, some fail, while some go on to make big business empires:

1. Look at the fact that not everybody is successful in making their business a huge success stories, people might talk about and in bargain you might end up loosing all your money in bringing in the resources for your business and you have even quit your current job, so take this hard step only when you are very sure of being successful, if not at the start but later stages. The successful people are those who are highly motivated in doing their tasks well and are confident about their achievements, it’s a myth, that if someone has money, he can create wonders in his business, to run a successful business unit you require the right talent, zeal to serve and grow your business.
2. While some people just love the jobs they are doing right now, they don’t like uncertainties in business, they are happy with their regular pay checks, giving less family time and coping up with the challenges in an organization, such people love their jobs, their working environment, their colleagues, the distance at which their office is located from their home, etc. these are the individuals happy with their life and spend their whole life in working for someone.
3. If you have really made up your mind doing business, then remove that fear factor from your head, setting up your business might dig a big hole in your pocket but there are others who have taken this big risk and are doing really well, so why not you?
4. Don’t expect quick returns on your investments, you might get the double the amount or may not get anything in return, so stay small at the start and don’t invest everything going crazy.
5. Yours is not a very big business enterprise, so don’t take hasty decisions and spending huge money on investments and don’t get yourself huge expenses at the start of your business.
6. Start doing a business which is cheap but yet of your interest, interest plays a very important role in what you are doing, if you don’t have any interest in what you are doing, its best to stop right there.
7. Make proper analyses of the things you are doing to do business with, be confident on your talents and skills and create a good working environment for your business.
8. Figure out what you want to cater to, what industry you are going for, are there any takers in this industry and what types of products or services you want to provide.
9. Lastly, I want to tell you, that failure is not the end to world, if your business fails at first and still you are confident of taking it to bigger heights than go ahead and create yourself a space in the competition.

Self employment is good but its not anyone’s cup of tea, it requires great courage to think of the new stuff you want to serve, the exhausted businesses are going to do nothing so you have to use your creativity and bring in talents that will work for you and take your business to a greater heights.
