The Reality of making money by blogging

Submitted in Blogging, Make Money on June 22, 2010 No Comment

Well, lots of people are interested to know how much money they will earn from their blog even before starting their blog? I have one question for them, how can you expect to taste the food without eating it? In similar fashion, it’s all about how you write, what you write and how interesting it is – that would describe how much you would earn. People start blogging with full enthusiasm and when they find no returns coming in after few months, they stop. This is the main turning point, at the stage where they stop blogging; perhaps this was the time when they could have started earning at least little money from the blog.

Those who are serious of making money from the blogs would surely want to wait for longer time even if it means waiting for one year or two years. The back-story finally lies in bringing money from your blogs. There is a deeper reality to making money on the blogs, what is it that will determine that you should take full time blogging. Here are some facts that will give you a real picture about the blogging world.

  • It takes long-term efforts
Blogging is not going to give you instant results, if you expect getting the returns in just one year. Then you are making money by blogginghighly mistaken, as a full time venture it would require loads of concerted efforts and patience.
  • The charming luck
If you think great leaders had luck favoring their sides, let me tell you its all connected. The more hard you work, the sweeter your luck gets. The earliest bloggers were plain lucky as there was no competition and not much choices for people either. Only the few fortunate ones got at the top quite accidentally. There are people making their own luck by working hard and it involves true dedication and passion.
  • The misconception
While lots of people think that blogging can do with anything but it requires regular set of articles according to the schedule that you decide. You can either start posting on a daily basis or post them thrice on a weekly basis, and it largely depends on the traffic you get on your blog.
  • Little money
Know this reality and the fact that blogging might give you good income or just a pocket money. You have to be patient and play your cards well without expectations. The vast majority of people blog and stop it immediately after months of blogging if they do not see the returns. The turning point lies at the time when you stop blogging or perhaps even later day, provided you continue with the blog. Do not lose hopes and move forward to give your best.

The things that I have stated above are not to put a downer on you especially for those who are planning to take blogging to the next level. Since increasing number of people are taking up blogging as a part time career, it surely has something to it. You will get a real picture about it when you start blogging especially if you are looking from money prospective.
