The Charm of Small Things

Submitted in Self Development on April 23, 2010 No Comment

Does small things really have any impact on us? I wonder in amazement sometimes and am nearly torn by the confusion raging inside my head. Many people show you short cut path to success but at the end of the tunnel, you end up doing even more work. Getting more things done at less time sounds like a tacky stuff. But some things do work with this philosophy, many of us are wanting to make some type of impact in this world may be something for better. Different people might have different issues and concerns to fulfill for making this world a better place to live in. There are of course some people who will resist the change and given the vastness of this world there are very meager chances that world is going to change with the efforts done by just one individual.

Thinking of a world which has such a vast place to live in gives you an idea of the ocean and how much deeper it can get. Today we are going to learn something really special that will show us the Art of the Small things. If you nearly feel abobe faithful in small thingsut changing the world, you really can, given the amount of efforts you have to make to create results and ever lasting memories. Although small things might look small but they can turn real big by constant efforts and determination, here are few of the lessons to be learnt:

  • Do not think it is hopeless for one person to try doing something; an effort made by one person can have as much effect as a whole group of people. Your message should be powerful enough to reach your audience. It is not necessary to have an influence or being an influential person.
  • Put all your efforts in smaller areas but wider arenas. When you have a wide presence, it can have a lasting effect on the audience. Focusing on smaller areas at first will surely bring in good bigger results later on in the life.
  • A tipping point is all it takes to have an impact on your audience.
  • Do not be very confident so as to try to beat an ocean, you are surely going to loose the battle. So always follow small things so that you can spread eventually.

The smaller the things are, the more effective can you become in your endeavors. You of course cannot take up a task to beat the climate change because that is not under your control. You can change anything that is under your control or are willing to take under your control. Always, remember that small things can change the world.
