Stopping Clock Cycle!
We all wish if we could stop TIME at least some point of time in our lives, but that doesn’t happen easily unless you take some steady steps to improve upon your lifestyle and create more than 24 hours in a day to do more tasks and activities that would give us an added boost to go along with the life’s challenges. Some people become overly anxious about the time especially when they are given targets to achieve or if the clock is just ticking by. In our life, there may be millions of time we looked at the clock, and thought perhaps if we could have control over your time and your boss’s time that would give you enough time to complete your office chores.
Realistically speaking, we don’t have any control over the time, as much we keep on counting every minute of our time, it proves disastrous to us, because we keep worrying more and get loads of tension that doesn’t allow you to complete your task with perfection and as a result you fail in your productivity. We have often seen people asking, what is the exact time? What’s the time right now? How many hours left? How much long should I be waiting? Etc. such questions are more often than not are created by anxiety feelings. Everyone wants to know the time, but why can’t we concentrate more on the present, any ways we are supposed to complete the tasks we are doing by hook or by crook so why worry, why cant we just move with the flow? Looking at all the current prospects and situations I can just say we
ourselves are responsible for spending our time, we ourselves are the owners of our time, we cannot borrow someone’s time nor lend someone yours, you are yourself the main entity having control on time and create more time for yourself. We are so much focused and obsessed with our time that we nearly loose control over time and gradually the time just slips by leaving you no option but to crib about time.
No wonder, the bigger organizations teach their employees the subjects relating to Time Management, learning how to manage time gives you great relief and power to stand during testing times and help you control your time in a more better way. It’s after all the success we are looking for in the end, time management teaches you to gain control over time and stop those anxiety feelings creeping inside our brains, you can effectively complete all the given tasks on time without worrying about the clock by ensuring that you have enough time to work on some assignments, schedule the things or tasks on priority basis, putting aside time for special tasks, not let time just fly by, spending less time in tracking the time where it went, you can form a time-table which will help you to cope with the work you do, you need not be very accurate about time but can surely have tasks scheduled so it will take less time thinking over matters that needs to be done next.
After a steady research for over 2 months, I have got something special for you that will help you to kill those anxiety feelings in your mind when you look at the clock:
- Some people set their goals on a monthly basis, personally I feel rather than setting goals why don’t we set up a theme that would empower us to follow it for the whole month and bring in the required energy to complete that particular goal, focus on the tasks you do and put all your energy in achieving your objectives.
- Set your tasks for a weekly basis, this would free yourself from unnecessary clutter consuming your mind and not letting you work with concentrated efforts.
- Follow your work rhythm religiously, don’t let it break unless something urgent comes up, follow your rhythms and tune in to achieving your goals.
- Schedule the most important tasks first in your priority lists, don’t get drawn by unwanted work consuming your valued time, don’t get in to hurrying things, calm your mind and do your work.
Set your work structure on a priority basis, have the will power to change from bad habits to new good habits, be confident and don’t rush for time let time remain stand still in your mind till the time you complete your work and you would be amazed to find in how little time you completed your work.
