Live life to the Fullest
Often we see the path of life gives us infinite amount of opportunities to grow and excel. The more we become conscious of our life’s dwellings, the more we become receptive of changing our situations and strive to get a better standard of living. The super busy of today would never feel a way out to give some time to be conscious of things that are happening around them. We need to live life to the fullest. Living in a conscious world offers you much more benefits while you also focus on one task at a time. You have to be aware of your present position and seemingly enjoy life as it comes. Be mindful of what’s happening around you and soon you will realize that you get inner joys in knowing things we paid least importance to. You can get extra ordinary pleasure from doing simple things that includes even the household chores if you are truly mindful of what you are doing. The feeling you get while you are truly aware of the tasks you are doing at hand is simply incredible.
Here are some few ideas that would be helpful if you wish to live life to the fullest:
- Never do multi tasking as a means of getting the work faster. If you are concentrating on doing one task at a time, simply keep doing that until the time you finish doing it. Getting hasty to do different tasks at the same time might spoil over all tasks.
- Do the tasks slowly and with neatness, do not rush in to getting the tasks done in a matter of just few seconds or
minutes. It is going to take as much time anyway, so better do it deliberately. - Doing less will allow you to do the task slowly and that would help you to completely concentrate on that task that will give great results.
- Do not schedule too many tasks at a time, manage your schedule properly and reap the benefits. Have a gap between each work you are doing so that you can relax and start the new task, new hand.
- Give five minutes in a day to yourself by just sitting in silence. Let all the thoughts come to your mind and concentrate hard on them. Focus on your thoughts and your breathing. Be comfortable in your silence zone and watch the world around you.
- Focus on your present without worrying about the future. Become aware of your present thinking and concentrate on what you are thinking. Are you too much worried about your future in your thoughts than its time that you look back, learn to realize the present and practice staying in present. Focus on the present situation.
- Stay in present while you are talking to someone, most of the times people think of something else while people are talking to them. Focus on what you are doing and be in present.
- Savor the taste of food you are eating. Do not hurry too much in eating as it can get stuck in your throat. Eat slowly so that you enjoy every bit of your food savoring its taste. When you eat slowly, you tend to eat less food and that helps you to digest the food well.
- Do not hurry too much in life; enjoy each and every moment and step of your life. Enjoy the birds flying in the sky, take time to relax and read you favorite book, laugh out loud when you are happy – these are just the simple things that can bring much joy and excitement in your life. This is really important if you want to live life to the fullest.
- Cleaning your house and cooking seems like a drudgery task for some but they are the most amazingly beautiful ways to practice mindfulness. You become mindful of each and every work you do and hence while you are cleaning you feel nice about yourself and the wardrobe that you are cleaning. Somehow, cleaning the house or a wardrobe is supposed to have a clutter free feeling in our mind.
- Never get frustrated of anything, if you tend to then take a deep breathe and relax. Become aware of your thoughts and keep practicing meditation.
