Is Your Hard Work Burning You Out, Oh No!- PART II

Submitted in Business on December 23, 2009 No Comment

Being burned out from your daily office chores is a common problem and there are many remedies to cope up with the same unless you decide on your goals, so I hope this time around you are all well prepared from my last teachings in my previous PART I of the topic, the first 2 key points we studied were focusing on your achievements and training your mind towards your work, this will seriously help you to overcome your distressful life and its boredom, lets discuss some few more points on that:

  • Save your energy:

if you have been a serious workaholic then its time you slow down and bring some much needed changes to your lifestyle, spend less time in office slogging on and on, instead take a break from daily grind and make some happy times with the things you love in life, not only just your productivity improves but you set sail on a guaranteed path to success. You don’t have to completely cut down on your work but do just few things like cutting down on unnecessary work which is consuming much of your time, money, energy and resource, taking frequent breaks from your work, stop being a multi-tasking individual, take help where ever needed.

  • Strike the Reality:

everybody has some business goals in life, the things theyburnout jobs want to achieve professionally, but think over them twice are they really achievable or its just you are moving on and on, still more further and seeing no progress, if that have been the case with you, its time you do a reality check, of things working in your business and also check out on the productivity whether its as per your expectation. You can note down all your important points, steps to be taken and goals to be achieved and check it in accordance with the resources and skilled labor you have, you will be able to define more of your success looking over these things.

  • Have enough sleep:

some people suffer from sleeplessness, there are lots many reasons to this, its just not your office that is bothering you, other factors like over enthusiastic for results, overly motivated, strong determination power and the fear of peer pressure, these are just some of the few factors which might not allow you to sleep. Although these things are necessary for success, but don’t go over board to kill your sleep, the best you could do in such circumstances is do your work on time without procrastinating and give the best of your efforts in your company.

  • Go at a slow pace:

nothing is running away, enjoy each and every moment of your time here, success is always there to achieve but you wont get the same people, same objects, same environment again.

  • Before you decide on something important in your company, its best advised to take expert advice on the topic, you wont have to repent for your step later in life. For a successful business plan its necessary to have a second opinion on the subject matter always.
  • A company works under certain rules and conditions, you should be setting boundaries for yourself as well the people working for you, if you have determined, hard working staff, you will never be de-motivated towards your work.
  • Defeat is not yousr to accept! Every bigger enterprise today, has learned a lot in their upcoming years, they have learned to face the failures as much as they got success, no enterprise becomes a billion dollar company, it learns, derives and gets everything through simple small steps and your company is no different. Challenges will come, but you have to face it with determined attitude and not get hurried away with the fears of defeat over particular project.

I have personally met with many such small burnout experiences in life, but I had a goal, an achievement to achieve which was clear in my heart and believe me, that attitude took me to success, sometimes in life you need to have an attitude to take over something, it just not the hard work that pays off, you need A POSITIVE ATTITUDE and CONFIDENCE in yourself.
